This GE/Current LED "corncob" bulb is a HID replacement for 250W to 400W metal halide or high pressure sodium lamps. Mogul E39 base, simply bypass your existing ballast and wire directly to high voltage, 277-480 VAC. This LED lamp utilized a proprietary design with active cooling, which allows for high output from a compact size. The length and diameter match HID ANSI profiles. These lamps feature omnidirectional light output wiht similar light distribution to traditional HID lamps. This enables these lamps to fit in a variety of fixtures while providing superior light levels to HID. These are Type B, ballast bypass LEDs.
